About Me
I'm Iara Cristina, a 21-year-old student currently at the last year on my Master degree's of Applied Mathematics and Data Science at FGV (Fundação Getúlio Vargas).
Born into a world where academia was not just a profession but a way of life, both my parents served as professors at UENF (Universidade Estadual Norte Fluminense Darcy Ribeiro).
Their influence fostered a love for learning and a deep appreciation for the real-world applications of mathematics.
I was always passionate about numbers and problem-solving, which naturally led me to move to Rio de Janeiro to pursue a Applied Mathematics bachelor's degree at FGV.
There, i was able to learn from some of the best researchers in different fields of mathematics, statistics, computer science, finance and biology.
As the future beckons with myriad possibilities, my life goal is to explore the infinite avenues STEM has to offer and, in the process, extend a helping hand and share knowledge with fellow teammates.
